"Inside the Armory"

Inside the arm'ry of this book,
Like rifles resting on their hooks,
Poetic words adorn the pages.
And, should they be deployed
From between the cover's cages,
They shall not return devoid,
But shall reach into the nooks
Of human hearts - where combat rages.

For war is surely underway,
A staunch response required.
Our adversary, pulling strings,
Seeking hearts and souls to slay,
Misleads the world and all her kings.
So open the arm'ry, join the fray,
And feel, with every poem fired,
Equipped, emboldened, and inspired.
